Bantam Select Lions feel at home on the road.
Your Bantam Select Lions rolled into the Dog pound last night to face their cross town rivals the CYO Storm. After a humbling defeat at home last Friday the Lions appear hungry early and never looked back. A very convincing 5-0 win with contribution from the entire Team. No Lion took the night off.
Mac Winslade recorded is 2nd shutout of the season facing only 9 shots but slammed the door shut when it was most needed.
Kenton Leech had a huge night scoring a power play marker, adding a helper and recording the the game winner.
Kaelen Smith, Jack Moyer, Colin McDonald and Gavin Paxton also scored.
Eric Sikora and Bek Woodland added assists.
Drew Ankersmit was a plus 3 playing a defensive gem.
Max Hildreth was 2 for 2 on the draws and added 6 shots to his impressive season total.
